FINAL PRINTED IMAGES

The gallery below are my final images which have been scanned and then final changes made in Lightroom.

In my opinion these images overcome the issue I felt was preventing the RAW files from being distanced enough from being a series of portraits of my school friends.

​

Through the very specific and considered degradation of the images I have enabled the emotion and message to show through but have at the same time created a distance between the viewer and the subject that in doing so makes the message to be more powerful.

​

In total there are 25 images which will be reproduced in a book containing 20 personal stories from people who have or are fighting a battle with their mental health.
